Description
This peak is easily reached from Boulder Meadows Reservoir southeast of McCall. The trail goes past Boulder Lake up to Boulder Summit. From here the trail shown on the USGS quad is basically non-existant, but the woods in open and it is not very steep to the top. On top there are remnants of an old lookout tower. I climbed the mountain in late June and the trail was basically snow free, considering it was a light snow year. The vertical rise of the route I used was about 2,130'.
