Description
The Piz Boe (Boé) is one of the highest and easiest mountains of the Dolomites. The normal route starts at the cableway station of the "Sass Pordoi (2952 m), and so as you can imagine the way up is not too long. When you leave the cableway the first image that you receive is fantastic, an incredibly huge altiplano at 3000 metres on a Dolomites peak! The ascent is not difficult, only on the last section you don't really walk, but it's easy, (F) it's funny! The panorama on the top is great, you can see all the Dolomite peaks, Sassolungo/Langkofel, Marmolada, Antelao, Tofane, Civetta, Monte Cristallo, Sorapis, Monte Pelmo, Croda Rossa d'Ampezzo, Tre Cime di Lavaredo (Drei Zinnen) etc., and also the Adamello/Brenta and the Ortles/Cevedale groups are not so far.
