- Photo by Buddy WilsonThe Peak in the picture is Longs Peak in Northern Colorado, The silhouette in the foreground is part of Mount Lady Washington. I took this picture NorthEast of Longs Peak looking Southwest. The picture was taken July 11,2000. I took this picture just below the boulder field and just above Granite Pass. I had stopped to grab a quick bite, and readjust the pack, and noticed the first light on the face. I took the picture between 5:00 and 5:30 AM (I think). Sometimes, a picture like this is worth the whole effort for the whole Day.
