Description

Mount Greylock is the highest point in Massachusetts. It is famous for its beautiful views, numerous waterfalls, and wide variety of forest and wildlife. You can hike the 50 miles of trail on the Mt. Greylock State Reservation. For additional information you can search the Appalachian Mountain Club website at www.outdoors.org.

Mount Greylock is also famous for the thunderbolt trail which is a steep challenging slope for skiers and snowboarders. It once attracted famous skiers around the world. You can also rent snowshoes at the lodge for $5, a beautiful way to get out and enjoy winter on Mount Greylock. IF you are a snow machine rider you can enjoy a nice ride.
