James Peak

Our first trip up James Peak was stopped just beyond Rogers Pass by some nasty looking clouds. After about 15 minutes of hiking down at a pretty fast clip, we looked back and saw Ole Jim was in the clouds and we could hear thunder. Wise decision. The second trip we reached the summit in about five and a half hours and were treated to an awesome view. My hiking buddies are my sons Mike and Jim.
