Description
Mulhacén is the highest peak at the Iberian Peninsula. Located in front of the Mediterranean Sea and African ranges can be seen from the summit. Easy steep walk in summer and late spring but very interesting snow/icing climb in winter through the North face central corridor. 600 m ice corridor, totally. Smooth south face but very steep North face with high rock cliffs. Dangerous at the end of April and May due to snow avalanches and rock chutes because of the heat.
