Fantastic climb, and harder than advertised. With a final day summit climb of 7000 feet or nearly 2000 meters from barrel huts to summit. Extremely cold weather mountain. One week before our arrival, the guides stated that the temps were between -50 and -60 degrees!! We got extremely lucky and encountered only -15 degree weather and perfect sunny days for 3 straight days which were told happen only a few times per season!! All experienced climbers in my group with one everest summit, 2 denali summits, 4 kilimanjaro summits,1 k2 summit, and a few other himalayan summits between the group of 9. All but 2 made the summit due to illness. People are hard to get used to...unfriendly by our standards, but all in all a great challenge and excellent cold weather mountain!!
