Description
Kennedy Peak is prominant point along the eastern ridge of Massanutten Mountain, located in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley. The peak rises approximately 1800 feet about the meandering Shenandoah river and has spectacular views into the Shenandoah river valley and to Shenandoah National Park, 10 miles to the east.
Kennedy peak is accessed from a spur trail of the Massanutten Mountain East Trail. The peak lies approximately 2.5 miles north from where State Road - 675 crosses the eastern ridge of Massanutten Mountain.
