What a killer trip! run before you go, it really pays. The trip went well for me and Zach(previouse submission) and we tore into the mountain. The first night our friend Pat (recovering from back surgery 6 months ago)got sick and felt like puking all night. we had camped at the rock shelter midway through the plateau. the next morning we were up early and on our way across the snow covered plateau and within a couple of hours had reached the saddle. we carefully worked down into it due to lots of ice. we camped in the saddle while scott ( suffering from snowblindness, although he thought it was his contacts)and Pat(really sick) went down to avalanch lake. that night a storm moved in and caused a series of avalanches around us. The next morning Zach and i headed out around 9. it was a 5 hour summit and a 5 hour return with six repels coming down. we reached avalanch at midnight and were unable to find the others ( however they had left the tent and gone down to the trail head.) then next mornign we woke and booked it out of there to ensure the safety of the other two. It was a killer 11 miles with an 83 pound pack.
