Description
Khathaphu peak is one of the lesser-known peaks of the Everest-area. The peak was first ascended from the East-Rongbuk glacier, the route the first expeditions to Everest used. (Everest North-Col route, Mallory) This peak is situated north of the Kangshung-valley with the majestic peaks Everest, Lhotse, Chomolonzo and Makalu.
