Mont Tauo Blanc

Description

High mountain for hikers. There aren't many peaks of this height in the Alps that are so high, and at the same time relatively easily accessible. The mountain can at best be tackled from the south-east side, from Rifugio Citta di Chivasso. There is some fairly difficult scrambling at the beginning of the top ridge, but the rest is more or less a walk-up. The scenery is wider then elsewhere in the Alps. A lot of debris at the summit. There are some small glaciers on the mountain, but you don't necessarily, have to cross them. Great view of Gran Paradiso (4061m).
