Chimborazo

Tried going light by substituting (ill-fitting) strap-on crampons on my hiking boots. They worked well for the ascent, but not for the downclimb. Were it not for copious duct tape, I'd probably still be inching my way down.

Also (on the ascent), a surprise gust robbed me of my left overmit while helping my partner retrieve something from his pack.

We had great weather -- but it was a bit crowded on the Normal Route.
