Description

The Breitenberg is located about six kilometers south of Bad Hindelang and 1.5 km south west of Hinterstein in the Ostrach valley. Usually the ascent of the Breitenberg is started from Hinterstein. From there the summit can be reached in about 3 hours. Alternatively the Breitenberg can be summited via the ridge "Hohe Gänge" frm the Heubatspitze (2008 m) and the Hindelanger Klettersteig.
