Description
The Texelspitze (Italian: Cima Tessa) is a mountain in the Texel group of the Ötztal Alps. It is the second highest summit of this mountainrange after the Roteck/Monterosso (3337 m).
The normal route from the Lodnerhütte (Rifugio Cima Fiammante) to the summit takes about 4.5 hours. According to guide books, in the upper part of the normal route, there are easy scambling parts (UIAA grade I).
