Description
The Riedberger Horn (1786 m), sometimes also called Riedbergerhorn, is the highest peak of the Hörnergruppe in the western Allgäuer Alpen. This typical Allgäu grass mountain is located east of Balderschwang. It is highly appreciated by hikers in the summer and is a very popular skiing mountain and a mountain for ski tours in winter. Luis Trenker once called the Riedberger Horn the "nicest skiing mountain of Germany".
