Description
The highest peak in Waterton National Park, named after Thomas Blakiston.
Mount Blakiston is rated as a moderate scramble by Alan Kane in the guide book "Scrambles in the Canadian Rockies". The most difficult part is just below the summit.
Mount Blakiston is often climbed together with a ridgewalk to Mount Hawkins and Mount Lineham, the so called Hawkins Horseshoe. The elevation gain for Mt Blakiston alone is about 1385 m.
