Allalinhorn

Final climb of a 2 week Alpine holiday, summitted via the Houlaubgrat from the Britannia Hut. Superb route, started at 4am and caught the sunrise just as we approached the 1st big shoulder. Left the glacier on the way up to travel on the bare rock band giving a nice scramble. Single pitch of exposed icy scrambling to summit, perfect ending, easy down the other side to rotating restaurant and a large coke!"
