Description
Frary Peak is the highest point on Antelope Island, the largest Island in the Great Salt Lake, Utah. The hike to the summit can be completed in 4 to 5 hours round trip. The trail gains 2050 feet of elevation in 3 1/2 miles. There are no trees along the trail to the summit. From the summit, the panoramic views of the Great Salt Lake and the Wasatch Mountains are amazing!
The trail is closed from April 1-June 1 for bighorn sheep lambing season. Bison roam freely on the island so encounters are possible.
