Mount Whitney

I couldn't wait for this experience. We woke up at 3:30 a.m., broke down our camp, and started the climb under a star filled sky. My flashlight wasn't very good and I fell in the first water crossing. Thank goodness for good equipment! We made the summit at 1:15 p.m. I wanted to sign the register on top before I turned 40 which will happen this March and I did it!! What a wonderful experience, I recommend this challenge to everyone.
