Description
Mt. Hanuman Tibba, is a fantastic peak in Western Himalayas, not far from Manali. By Himalayan standards it is not the highest peak, rising just under 20,000 ft, but where it lacks in height it makes up in beauty. Surrounded by incredible glaciers, the peak is a white pyramid with each side of the pyramid giving a different look. 0ff the north east side runs a couloir, over 7000-10,000 feet to the glacial valley floor. Nearest Road head is Solang and peak is best climbed by making beaskund or bakar-thatch as the base camp. Minimum of two/three camps are required to climb the mountain.
