Mount Rainier

I went up with RMI. Day 1 safty class- like a trip to the swiss alps sunny, warm, beautiful. Day 2 climb to Muir same as day 1 fantastic! Day 3 start for the top 1:00am- miserable! Windy, cold, as bad as it can get without canceling. @4:00am hit with a soft ball sized rock. @5:00am almost knocked off mountian by a lost back pack sliding down slope(no climber attached). 6:30 am shivering uncontrolably.

7:30 am at the top, what the ____did i do this for? (I've run 3 marathons and this is the hardest thing i've ever done). 1:00 pm back at muir. CAN'T WAIT TO SIGN UP OR ANOTHER ONE! Pictures, memories and stories worth it! spend the 50.00 for the cd rom of your trip 8 months later i still look at them and think....maybe this winter....
