Description
Granite Mountain is a basic Washington State typical peak with a trail that climbs through forest and meadows above treeline to a fire lookout. It is located in the Snoqualmie River Valley east of Seattle and is visible from Interstate 90 which provides easy access to the trailhead. Winter months make it an avalanche hotspot with a history of fatalities.
