Mount Meru

We did the three day walk of meru (do four!!i needed slepp after the summit!). the first day was incredible, animals and waterfalls! The second was harder, but got to see the most amazing sights of kili. The summit, almost gave up after passing out, plenty of maji! (water!), more of a climb than a walk, but it was incredible getting to the summit, the views were surreal. so happy to have completed it, certainly makes you realise if you're unfit! lived in arusha for 5months now as a teacher, and so glad i've ended it climbing 'our' mountain, we wake up to it every morning! xo
