Description
This peak is located on the Pacific Crest ~5 miles south of Hwy 4 (Ebbitts Pass). A summit log is located in a stacked rock open structure, placed there by the Sierra Club back in 1964. Remnants of a trial run along the crest which will take to the summit. Approaches can be made from all directions, however, a southern approach can be made in a day hike. 10 miles roundtrip from Ebbitts Pass; 4-8 hours to complete the journey. Total evelvation gain is ~1600 feet. Evelation gain is inconsistent (gains/losses) due to the Pacific Crest terrain.
