Longs Peak

Quite the thrill. I have never climbed a mountain over 14,000 ft and this was our second attempt at Longs. We were turned around by snow the last time (September 2001). Leave early and stay focused, one can do it. Support your group and keep positive all the way. Once on top, it truly was a rush, what a view. The view from the Keyhole makes you wonder how you ever got there in the dark. I'll do it again, just not this year.
