In Turkish "Kale Tepe" means castle hill as the name says it the mountain is not so high but it has a challenging north wall with a lot of different routes. This winter I have climbed the north wall of Kale Tepe it was not so long but was full of over hangs; the route from the toe to the summit is 4 rope lengths,(new route)and if you are deciding to climb the route during the early spring and late winter be ready for mix climbing. loose rock is a characteristic of this mountain, and do not think about descending because you can descent from the North east ridge by walk I' ll be glad to help you if you have any questions.
