Karrinyarra (Central Mount Wedge)

Elevation: 3501 feet  •  1067 meters
Location: Australia, Australia/Oceania

This spectacular peak rises very steeply from the flat wooded plain and can be seen from over 100km away on the Tanami road. The North and South faces are sheer walls of red rock and the views of the Stewart Bluff Range are very beautiful from the summit. Although easily ascended from the salt lake at the western end of the range, this mountain is very rarely climbed.
